Automobilia/Collectibles -- Page 18

Old, slightly rare, very rare, and unbelievably rare classic automobilia & collectible items for sale

Original 1958 advertisement for the Lincoln Continental Mark III. The ad measures approximately 10" x 14" and is in excellent shape. No tears or rips and would be graded "fine". Partial ad text: "The New Continental Mark III..It says so eloquently...this man can have any car he likes." This vintage ad is not a photo, reprint or reproduction. This is the real thing. Most of these ads were run a single time. Cost is $25.00, which includes standard surface shipping to any point in the continental USA.

Original advertisement for a 1950 Dodge Diplomat. The ad also features the 1950 Dodge Wayfarer Sportabout (bottom left). The ad measures approximately 11" x 14" and is in excellent shape. No tears or rips and would be graded "fine". Partial ad text: "Be prepared to be watched, admired, envied, when you cruise the highways in this most glamorous of cars--the new Dodge DIPLOMAT." In purchasing this ad, you'll receive a really wonderful extra: the ad appeared on the inside cover of the September 1950 issue of Holiday magazine. This cover is in full color and pictures a lady dressed in 50s cowboy garb. She's perched atop a beautiful chestnut horse, and the backdrop is of the colorful Montana landscape. This vintage ad is not a photo, reprint or reproduction. This is the real thing. Most of these ads were run a single time. Cost is $25.00, which includes standard surface shipping to any point in the continental USA.

Vintage lot of advertising mats for DeSoto/Plymouth dealerships. Includes advertising proof slips and a letter, 4 advertising mats 4 X 4 inches, 4 advertising mats 2 X 2 inches, the corresponding proof sheets, and a letter from the advertising agency Owen-Fields in Kansas City. The large and small mats show the same graphic cartoon. There are a total of 4 different cartoons-all produced in 1937. The mats are made of a heat-resistant fiber material. These mats were used to give to a newspaper or magazine who would, in turn, produce the lead printing plates to be used for the ads. The mats are unused and in perfect condition. The ad copy is included on the proof slips. The letter from Owens-Fields is dated march 6, 1937. It has minor stains from the remains of a rubber band. This is an absolutely excellent example of vintage automobile advertising and will make a fine addition to your collection. Cost is $90.00, which includes standard surface shipping to any point in the continental USA.
