This is a great collectible - a pair of Willson Driving Goggles--probably from the 1920's (according to others I have seen). The goggles are in very good condition and each lens has a small "W" etched in it. They are fastened on the head with a small clasp and "Willson" is on each side of the metal or aluminum framework with a leather backing where it fits against the face. They come with a small metal case that has "Willson Goggles" (and "reg in"--can't make it out) stamped on the top and "Made in U.S.A.," along with logo. The case has a few small paint chips and it looks like someone painted near it and spattered it a bit, which I didn't try to remove, but looks good and is a dark brown in color. The gogles fit in the pictured oval case 2 1/2 by almost 3 inches by 1 1/2 inch tall. Imagine, if you can, the windswept stories of the past these goggles could tell if only they could speak...Cost is $95.00, which includes standard surface shipping to any point in the continental USA.
